About Us

Steadfast Canine was founded to offer affordable dog training to the people and pups of Bakersfield. I have been training dogs professionally for over 6 years, there is no dog too big or too small, every pup can be worked with. Before I was a professional dog trainer I worked with different companies to gain hands on experiences and coaching. Along with working with dogs I read many books/ articles on dogs and why they did certain things, knowing all this helps in my success. I have a goal of being able to help my community by offering dog training that would be more affordable without loosing the quality. 

Steadfast Canine believes that owning a pet is an amazing and rewarding experience, but it is also a responsibility. I was tired of seeing people want to hand over their dogs to the shelters or rescues just because they couldn’t afford to train them to behave. Training your pup properly will lead you to a greater understanding of the animal, and I firmly believe in the owner-dog relationship being one of mutual understanding and respect.
